Adjunct Instructor - Environmental Science

Tarleton State University invites applications for Adjunct Instructor - Environmental Science in the Department of Chemistry, Geoscience, and Physics. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a university that values innovation, collaboration, and inclusive growth, teaching up to six semester credit hours in Environmental Science. Successful candidates will plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and/or laboratory offerings, develop course syllabi, and assess student performance. The position is part-time, temporary, and commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Earned masters degree in Environmental Science or a closely related field from an accredited university with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Knowledge and understanding of disciplinary subject matter at a level adequate for undergraduate and graduate-level instruction
