Requirements
- Earned PhD, SLPD, EdD degree in speech-language pathology, communication sciences and disorders, speech-language-hearing sciences, or related discipline from an accredited university
- Record of at least 5 years of clinical experience as a speech-language pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in the area of speech-language pathology
- Eligible for Texas licensure to practice as a speech-language pathologist in medical and/or educational settings
