Director of Development, College of Business

The Director of Development for the Dr. Sam Pack College of Business at Tarleton State University will be responsible for building a comprehensive development program for the College, featuring both annual giving and major gift elements. The successful candidate will work closely with the College of Business dean and leadership to align philanthropic prospects with the College's strategic priorities and advance the dean's vision and the mission of the College.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five (5) years of professional fundraising experience, with strong preference given to a candidate with higher education fundraising experience or related experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
• Experience with prospect research and donor relations
• Familiarity with fundraising software and tools
• Ability to travel as needed
