Wonders is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a reliable, secure, and efficient data communications network for their offices around the world. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in networking, SDWAN, routing, switching, VoIP, and wireless, and be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network and VoIP equipment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of proven hands-on experience in a network administrator role
- Hands on experience in networking, SDWAN, routing, switching, VoIP, wireless
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, route redistribution, Spanning Tree)
- Knowledge on Cisco, ASA, Dynamic Routing, OSPF, Proxy Servers, Web Filtering and Networking (LAN/WAN, VLAN, DNS, MPLS)
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Hands-on working knowledge of carrier-grade VoIP infrastructure, specifically: hosted PBXs platforms (Asterisk), endpoint devices (Polycom, Cisco SPA)
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
- Ability to setup and configure server hardware and deployments in on-prem data centers
- Ability to configure network infrastructure with IaC such as Terraform
- Maintain version control of configurations using Github
- Experience in network setup in cloud environments such as AWS (Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering)
- Able to understand and analyze WireShark results to solve complex SIP VoIP and IP internetworking challenges
- Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
- Self-learner, independent, and have outstanding problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field
