Senior Director, Data

Taskrabbit is seeking a Senior Director of Data to lead the transformation of our data capabilities from a supporting function into a strategic driver of growth and innovation. This role will define and execute Taskrabbit's overarching data strategy, lead a diverse and talented team, and unlock significant business value by leveraging our most valuable asset: data.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or data engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Ability to translate complex data and technical concepts into business insights and actionable recommendations
• Exceptional Business Acumen, MBA or Consulting experienced preferred
• Expert at operating cross functionally to drive business results and outcomes with technical and non technical teams
• Proven track record of leading large data teams to deliver complex data solutions.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data manipulation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire teams, and to lead leaders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Previous experience in a marketplace or e-commerce company.
• Experience in leading teams in a hybrid or remote environment.
