Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Group Leader to join our Municipal group based in our Barrie or Ottawa office. The successful candidate will lead a team of Project Managers and technical support staff, and be responsible for business development, project management, and team leadership.
Requirements
- P.Eng. in the province of Ontario, registered with PEO
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, preferably in the consulting environment
- Technical leader in relevant sector
- Demonstrated abilities as a team leader, responsible for managing a team of support staff
- Undertake business development with a desire to do more
- Understanding of business metrics and company policies and can work with staff to achieve desired outcomes
- Demonstrated high level of commitment
- Strong, relevant design and project management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of appropriate design and analysis software
- Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
