Supervisor I

TBC Corporation is seeking a Supervisor I to supervise and coordinate activities of workers in the distribution center. The role involves supervising employees, managing warehouse operations, and resolving problems. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of experience in the field or a related area.

Requirements

• Plans layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped
• Studies records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving and excess stock
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances
• Supervises employees responsible for picking, shipping and receiving product
• Appraises performance, rewards, and disciplines employees
