The Auto Collision Repair Instructional Assistant plays a key supportive role in both the classroom and shop environment, assisting the instructor with daily classroom management, providing hands-on support during shop projects and refinishing activities, and performing administrative duties.
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma. A Technology Center diploma or Associate’s degree is preferred.
- Possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience in auto collision repair, automotive refinishing, industrial painting, industrial coatings, or related surface preparation and finishing industries.
- Possess or be willing to obtain a minimum of one ASE certification.
- Be detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and follow-up skills while exceeding expectations.
- Take initiative, seek out projects proactively, and openly accept additional duties as assigned.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment where innovation and hands-on learning are valued.
