Application Development Specialist

The Senior Application Developer's role is to use advanced experience and knowledge of different programming languages to create and maintain programs and applications. The role includes analysis of requirements and functional specifications to design, build, test, implement and support corrections and or enhancements.

Requirements

• Analyzes business requirements across multiple business areas
• Coordinates and schedules change control and production verification processes
• Ensures that all programming / configuration adheres to corporate standards
• Develops business relationships and integrates activities with other IT departments
• Creates impact and details design documents
• Monitors and reports on the status of project efforts
• Possesses strong data entry skills
• Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills
• Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency
• Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information
• Able to create and conduct formal presentations
• Able to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills
• Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion
