Job Description
The Associate Software Asset Management Analyst is responsible for supporting worldwide software license compliance, monitoring and tracking software usage, and remediating licensing variances. The role involves administering the software asset management tool, reviewing licensing terms and conditions, and providing consulting services to users regarding licensing terms and conditions, and software usage rights.
Requirements
- Administers the software asset management tool and the licensing database
- Reviews and processes licensing terms and conditions
- Understands software usage rights, monitors and tracks usage
- Proposes different alternatives for licensing optimization and cost reduction
- Analyzes and approves software requests according to software availability and company’s standards
- Partners with global IT and Business community to ensure compliancy
- Gathers and monitors software counts / subscriptions, suggests and coordinates software cleanups
- Maintains the Software Asset Management dashboards
