Supports the organization's physical security and facilities needs. Conducts security reviews, implements site security procedures, and assists with procedures, equipment, inspections, surveys, and training. Serves as a key liaison and support resource for the Corporate Real Estate team, acting as a concierge for facilities-related needs and ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for employees, members, and guests.
Requirements
- Associates or two-year degree from an accredited University preferred
- One to three years of experience in a physical security-related field preferred
- In possession of a current Texas License to Carry (LTC)
- Strong working knowledge of relevant computer software, including Microsoft Office
- Strong working knowledge of the Texas Penal Code as it relates to Physical Security
- Experience with physical security software and systems, video management software and systems, and access control software and systems (Op-Center, Vid-Center, RPS, and Pacom preferred)
- Working knowledge of network communication and configuration a plus
- Produces effective, practical decisions / solutions, and makes judgments decisively
- Requires strong interpersonal, communication, and investigative skills
- Detail orientated with ability to utilize time effectively
- Proven record interacting with all levels of the public from the criminal element to public officials, business leaders and executives
