Electronics Assembler 1A

The Electronics Assembler 1A is responsible for setting up and operating equipment in the SMT/PCB area, including Screen Printer, Thought-hole Component Insertion/Locator, Pick and Place, Wave Solder, Selective Solder, Reflow Oven and AOI machines.

Requirements

• Read work orders and follow production drawings, bill of materials, and/or sample assemblies.
• Identify components per bill of materiel.
• Access Factory Track system for BOM, parts inventory, etc.
• Access computer for relevant program.
• Set-up equipment per procedure.
• Operate equipment per procedure.
• Perform required preventive maintenance operations.
• Maintain any required maintenance logs.
• Maintain any required quality data.
• Perform minor trouble shooting techniques.
• Implement and/or write any ECOs or deviations.
• Reference IPC 610 for acceptance criteria.
• Some hand assembly required.
