MGR II MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING

Lead and manage manufacturing engineering to ensure on-time and successful delivery of projects and provision of effective support to new business.

Requirements

• Develop advanced process technology
• Review automation project, Cost saving project
• Review new sample making reports
• Provide technical support to key project
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, processes, and workflows
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with design and quality teams on new product introductions
• Ensure equipment, tooling, and facilities are optimized for productivity and safety
• Troubleshoot production issues and recommend corrective actions
• Conduct time and motion studies and establish standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials, tools, and machinery
• Provide training and technical support to production staff
• Develop and implement section budget and plan
• Monitor the achievement of the budget in order to achieve targeted department performance
• Implement new global product development policies, procedures and systems
• Maintain and develop local product development policies, procedures in order to meet TE's global requirements
• Allocate and balance the allocation of work across direct reports
• Review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports
• Mentor, develop and motivate them
• Help resolve people/functional issues in the team in order to achieve targeted performance and retain key talent
• Manage fixed asset and find new opportunity to reuse idle asset on new project in order to reduce product cost
