Lead and manage manufacturing engineering to ensure on-time and successful delivery of projects and provision of effective support to new business.
Requirements
- Develop advanced process technology
- Review automation project, Cost saving project
- Review new sample making reports
- Provide technical support to key project
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, processes, and workflows
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with design and quality teams on new product introductions
- Ensure equipment, tooling, and facilities are optimized for productivity and safety
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct time and motion studies and establish standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials, tools, and machinery
- Provide training and technical support to production staff
- Develop and implement section budget and plan
- Monitor the achievement of the budget in order to achieve targeted department performance
- Implement new global product development policies, procedures and systems
- Maintain and develop local product development policies, procedures in order to meet TE's global requirements
- Allocate and balance the allocation of work across direct reports
- Review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports
- Mentor, develop and motivate them
- Help resolve people/functional issues in the team in order to achieve targeted performance and retain key talent
- Manage fixed asset and find new opportunity to reuse idle asset on new project in order to reduce product cost
