Job Description
PRINCIPAL R&D/PRODUCT DVL ENGINEER at TE: Innovate original ideas for new products, introduce them into practice, and lead product development and qualification from market definition to production and release.
Requirements
- B.S. of Engineering or Master or PHD, Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 15 or more years of experience and at least 8 years of automotive connector design recently
- Master of product development process and related product manufacturing process
- Master of low voltage connector detail design and application
- Master of special characteristic significance for customer and TE
- Master of basic automotive industry core tools, such as APQP, FMEA and PPAP
- GD&T, DFM, DFA, DFSS, etc.
- Cero software and drawing design, tolerance calculation
- Stamping, plating, molding, assembly and machine application
- Relevant technical standards and law regulations
- Intellectual work spirit
- Effective communication with customers
- Automotive standards such as USCAR, SAE, etc.
- Automotive connector application such as cable/coaxial
