Safety Controls Technician

The Safety Controls Technician will support the comprehensive upgrade of manufacturing equipment control systems and wiring to achieve full compliance with ANSI/ISO Machinery Safety standards and TE corporate standards.

Requirements

• Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot electrical and control system issues, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Install and maintain wiring and related electrical machine safety components, safety relays, or safety PLCs, motor controllers, VFD’s, and servo controllers.
• Support mechanical repairs and collaborate with other technicians to resolve challenges.
• Assist in design and certification of all safety control system designs for regulatory and company machinery safety specifications.
• Validate and verify system integrity.
