SHIPPER / RECEIVER I

TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties, using computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment, processing freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.

Requirements

• Using material handling tools such as forklifts and standard lifts to load and unload carriers as directed.
• Documents arrival of shipments and enters the event in the database, along with the corresponding receipt transactions in SAP for payment of purchase orders to suppliers.
• Physically verifies that the part number and quantities of the received product match the information on the shipping guide and/or invoice.
• Stores the material in the rack location in the corresponding area according to the business unit and type of material using the appropriate equipment.
