Sr. Data Scientist

We are seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to drive Manufacturing Technology Development through data science solutions, fostering innovation across various systems. The individual will translate business problems into data science solutions, lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and statistical analyses, and communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics.
• Bachelor’s Degree required (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field), Master’s preferred.
• Strong foundation in statistical inference, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Power BI, Tableau).
• Thorough knowledge of general engineering tools (LEAN or 6-sigma) such as DoE, FMEA, QFD, etc.
• Fluent in English (read, write, and speak).
• Broad knowledge of stamping, plating, assembly, and molding processes for connectors and sockets is a plus.
• Practical application of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PPT, Project, & Outlook).
• General project management skills and experience – Ability to work on several projects at once.
