Job Description
The Staff Project Manager Engineer will be responsible for leading New Product Development projects, managing resources, and ensuring the team operates according to the development process. The candidate should have strong leadership and project management skills, a strong engineering background, and good working knowledge of connector manufacturing technologies.
Requirements
- Take total ownership of one or more New Product Development projects
- Unite the Core Team toward a common objective
- Manage resources
- Ensure the project is âstaffed for successâ
- Negotiate with functional managers and Project Approval Committee (PAC) to alleviate resource constraints as needed
- âDiscipline the Systemâ
- Ensure that the team are operating according to the development process
- Keep people focused on the matters at hand as well as their area of responsibility
- Report out project status to PAC following contract date
- Be proactive to take actions and get thing done
- Resolve conflict and controversial issues
