TOOL & DIE ENGINEER

TE Connectivity is hiring a Tool & Die Engineer in Pune, India to contribute to cost savings through hardware tear down, material characterization, and manufacturing process evaluation. The incumbent will be responsible for repair and maintenance of progressive dies, modifying and preventive maintenance of tools, and troubleshooting tooling issues during production runs.

Requirements

• Diploma in Tool & Die Making -NTTF /GTTC/CTTC/IGTR or Equivalent
• Min 5-6 years of experience in Progressive tool Maintenance in Stamping
• Strong knowledge of die maintenance practices, including disassembly, cleaning, repair, and assembly
• Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to progressive dies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to use precision measurement instruments and tools for accurate adjustments and repairs
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Hands-on experience operates surface grinding machine
• knowledge of tool steels, heat treatment processes
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in preventive maintenance activities for continuous operations
• Knowledge of six sigma tools will be an added advantage
