Job Description
The Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities for large institutional projects, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and schedules.
Requirements
- Direct and coordinate all site activities and trades
- Develop and manage short-term lookahead schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain daily site reports and progress documentation
- Coordinate inspections and quality control procedures
- Manage site logistics on complex facilities (arenas, aquatic centres, emergency buildings)
- Collaborate closely with Project Manager and consultants
- Lead site meetings and subcontractor coordination
