Operations Controller

Join Team Global Express as an Operations Controller (AM) and help keep Australia moving. This key operational role coordinates daily pickup and delivery activities, linehaul planning, rail and road movements, and ensures customer and operational performance targets are achieved.

Requirements

• Previous experience in transport, linehaul, intermodal, or logistics operations
• Strong understanding of NHVR, CoR, fatigue, load restraint, and transport compliance
• Ability to work calmly and effectively in high-pressure operational environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience coordinating drivers, fleet operations, and customer requirements
• Good problem-solving capability and ability to make operational decisions
• Strong computer skills and ability to work across multiple systems
• Sound understanding of how operational decisions impact cost and service outcomes
• Positive attitude with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service
