Database Specialist

What you can expect from us

You will work in a highly motivated team to configure, administer and provide support for complex database solutions. You will work on projects with, advise and carry out migrations. You will design and implement backup and recovery strategies, carry out analyses and implement strategies to improve application performance.

Your workday

• Consultation of our customers in the operational environment of databases and the associated infrastructure
• Taking up customer requirements and developing solution proposals
• Implementation of solution proposals and ensuring operation
• Creation and realization of high availability concepts
• Planning and conducting training
• Investigation and solution of performance problems

What sets you apart

• University degree in computer science or a comparable field of study
• Ideally several years of experience in the area of administrative maintenance of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases as well as ideally another database system
• Your enthusiasm with creativity and team spirit to work on exciting IT projects
• You can get to the bottom of complex interconnections
• Care, self-organization and reliability are your thing
• Team ability and flexibility are among your strengths
• You convince through communication strength, independence and a customer-oriented working method
