Senior Finance Officer

Our client, Australia’s largest independent electrical wholesaler, is seeking a commercially minded and detail-oriented Senior Finance Officer to join their finance team. The role plays a key part in month-end reporting, financial analysis, and supporting the broader business with actionable financial insights.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Experience leading month-end processes and reviewing reporting deliverables
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive business outcomes
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modelling, pivot tables, complex formulas)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report preparation
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
• Willingness to take a hands-on, practical approach at an operational level
