Job Description
MGR Accounting Recruiters is seeking a Tax Accountant for a client in San Antonio. The role involves managing tax compliance, analyzing financial information, preparing tax returns, and providing tax-related advice. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns for various entities, analyzing financial data to optimize tax savings, staying updated on tax laws, and communicating effectively with clients and tax authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- At least 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
