Job Description
Technamo is seeking a Software Developer 3 to perform work on legacy modernization projects in a Java application using Rational Application Developer. The emphasis of the work will be full stack development, including assessing user requirements, translating them into technical tasks, and actual code development. The contract staff will work on an agile scrum team, participating in regular meetings and interactions with business owners and the project team.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience working as a software developer on software application development projects
- 8 years of coding using Rational Application Developer, Enterprise Java Beans, Java Struts framework, HTML5, XML, JSON, JavaScript, browser-based debugging tools, Apache Ant, and SVN
- 8 years of eliciting requirements from end users and forming epics and user stories, then translating them to functional tasks for technical staff
- 2 years of using Microsoft Teams or other collaboration tool to communicate and work within a team
