Integrated Photonics Engineer

We are seeking an Integrated Photonics Engineer to join our quantum research team in Rome, NY. The ideal candidate will have expertise in integrated photonic device design and simulation, with a focus on applications for quantum technologies. The position requires a minimum of a Master's degree in physics or a closely related field, and a strong understanding of quantum optics and integrated photonics. Responsibilities include designing and optimizing integrated photonic devices and circuits, leading the tape-out process for fabrication at leading-edge photonic foundries, and contributing to the intellectual environment of the team.

Requirements

• Expertise in integrated photonic device design and simulation
• Proven experience with photonic device design software
• Hands-on experience with integrated photonics tape-outs and fabrication processes
• Strong understanding of quantum optics and integrated photonics
• Experience with optical testing and characterization of photonic devices
