Job Description
We are seeking an HGV Technician to join our team in Stockport, working on the assembly of military vehicles for the British Army. The role involves final assembly, fault-finding, and mechanical repairs, with great career prospects and benefits.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic / Mechanical or Electrical Fitter
- HGV Mechanic Certification City and Guilds / NVQ or relevant Electrical Qualification
- Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (desirable)
- Vehicle assembly or maintenance experience
- Understanding of technical documents
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of production processes and procedures
- Understanding of quality, safety, and environmental systems and processes
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations
