Principal Engineer - MV/HV Cable Design

We are seeking a Principal Engineer - MV/HV Cable Design to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, design, and development of MV/HV submarine cable products for offshore wind and power cable elements within hybrid power umbilical systems.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline - preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Extensive relevant experience of high voltage submarine cables in the offshore wind and/or oil & gas sectors
• Strong relevant knowledge of submarine cable constructions, designs, ratings, limits, manufacturing, installation and operation
• Significant knowledge of relevant industry standards relating to submarine cable design, qualification, testing and the wider offshore wind/subsea industry
