CAD Technician

Technique, Inc. is looking for a CAD Technician to join their team at their Jackson, Michigan facility. The ideal candidate is a community college or trade school graduate with CAD experience in a manufacturing environment and proficiency in SolidWorks, TruTops, and Draftsight.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, vocational training
• 2–3 years of CAD experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2 years of experience designing weld fixtures
• Must be able to use SolidWorks, TruTops, and Draftsight
• Good working knowledge of GD&T
• Able to read and understand CMM reports
• Basic knowledge of standard shop equipment and manufacturing processes
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Self-managing, independent worker
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
