Production Manager

Role Overview

The Production Manager oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role is responsible for managing production teams, meeting production goals, coordinating resources, and driving continuous improvement across all production processes.

What You Will Do

Lead and develop production teams, plan and coordinate production, ensure efficient production lines, promote a culture of safety, conduct safety audits, ensure proper work procedures, partner with Quality, implement quality corrective actions, monitor quality metrics, lead continuous improvement initiatives, analyze production data, drive best practices and SOPs, coach and mentor team members, support hiring and training, foster positive employee relations, monitor KPIs, prepare performance reports, collaborate with Supply Chain, work with Maintenance, recommend equipment upgrades, and ensure resource allocation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including leadership or supervisory roles
• Experience in fast-paced production environments strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient with production planning systems (ERP/MRP)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
