This thesis offers an opportunity to compare market-available software-based calculation tools for manufacturing, analyzing their performance and limitations in automated quotation and cost calculation, especially for complex components and various manufacturing processes. The student will develop a comparison model, perform test calculations, conduct interviews, and provide recommendations for Techpilot.

Requirements

• Enrolled student in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable degree program.
• Interest in the manufacturing industry and international supply chains.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and data analysis.
• Ability to work scientifically and present complex issues in an understandable way.
• Very good German and English skills in written and spoken form.
