Senior Mechanical Engineer - Medical Device Industry

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the transfer and sustaining engineering of multiple product lines relocating from Boston to Minneapolis. This role will lead and support manufacturing transfer activities, process development, documentation, and sustaining engineering, ensuring the successful ramp-up of production in Minneapolis while maintaining product quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of 6 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication and machining processes, cables and harnesses, assembly, testing and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in 3D solid modeling, preferably SolidWorks
