We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to control the stability of the pit, waste dumps, and mineral stocks to ensure a safe operation at the Carmen de Andacollo mine in Chile. The successful candidate will have a degree in Mining Engineering or a related field and at least 7 years of labor experience in mining, including 5 years in similar positions.
Requirements
- Have a degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of labor experience in mining.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions.
- Knowledge of Mining in Open Pit and Mining Processes.
- Knowledge of Geology, Hydrogeology.
- Knowledge of Geotechnics and Geomechanics.
- Knowledge of Tronadura and Explosives Processes.
- Experience in Geotechnical Event Analysis and Support in Incident Management.
- Experience in managing geotechnical analysis and modeling software.
- Experience in managing mining design software Vulcan and Point Studio.
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office.
- Class B driver's license.
- Experience in driving in a mine.
- Availability to work in a 4x4 shift system.
