Commercial Roofing Estimator

We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Estimator for our Jessup MD location. The Commercial Roofing Estimator will be responsible for estimating and bidding projects with a complete and comprehensive review of project plans and specifications.

Requirements

• Produces project estimates for commercial roofing, waterproofing, and sheet metal projects.
• Estimates job costs and submits proposals for review.
• Tracks submitted bid proposals, provides best and final offers, and negotiates as required to achieve a high project award rate.
• Reviews and approves proposals and contracts to verify that they do not compromise company policy or exceed intended scope of work.
• Develop detailed prequalification and technical proposal packages.
• Gathers and incorporates subcontractor bids into Tecta’s bid proposal as applicable for the project.
• Develop and maintain business relationships to broaden Tecta’s bidding pool.
• Attend trade events, lunch-and-learn seminars, and trade organization meetings to further develop trade industry relationships.
