Counselor - Kansas City Girls Academy

Kansas City Girls Academy is looking for a Masters Level Counselor to assist students in gaining insight into their problems, define goals, and plan action in a Christian boarding school setting.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counseling or a relevant field
• Understanding of Biblical principles
• Previous experience working with youth and families
• Background check and pastoral or ministerial leader reference
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high standards of professionalism and confidentiality
• Strong time management, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Ability to create a comfortable, safe environment for students and parents
• Understanding of the issues facing teens and applicable intervention strategies
