Job Description
Heavy Haul Transport Operator / CDL A oversize over-dimensional Truck Driver operates a multi-axle piece of equipment to transport heavy loads in a time-sensitive manner. The role is within a project-based, in-house permitting customer segment. The company offers opportunities for on-site work and projects.
Requirements
- Operate heavy haul truck and trailer in a safe and courteous manner.
- Acknowledge and carry out written/oral instructions from dispatchers and customers.
- Transport heavy loads to customers in a timely manner.
- Ensure delivery of appropriate items in accordance with customer invoices.
- Ensure tractor and trailer are clean and in good working condition.
- Perform daily maintenance checks and report malfunctions to management.
- Document and communicate repair requests to mechanics.
- Ensure customer messages are relayed to appropriate management.
