Tekion is seeking a Staff Business Applications Engineer to architect and own technical solutions across its ERP ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in finance/accounting systems implementation, configuration, and support, with a strong knowledge of ERP systems and integrated financial applications.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in finance/accounting systems implementation, configuration, and support
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred) and integrated financial applications like Adaptive, Procurement and T&E systems are desired.
- Experience with financial process automation and system integrations
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes and working knowledge of financial processes (Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash)
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction and manipulation
- Familiarity with system testing methodologies and documentation best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to design and architect new system solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Ability to manage technical projects from design through deployment with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication; able to translate technical details for business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
