Staff Business Applications Engineer

Tekion is seeking a Staff Business Applications Engineer to architect and own technical solutions across its ERP ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in finance/accounting systems implementation, configuration, and support, with a strong knowledge of ERP systems and integrated financial applications.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in finance/accounting systems implementation, configuration, and support
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred) and integrated financial applications like Adaptive, Procurement and T&E systems are desired.
• Experience with financial process automation and system integrations
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes and working knowledge of financial processes (Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash)
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
• Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction and manipulation
• Familiarity with system testing methodologies and documentation best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to design and architect new system solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Ability to manage technical projects from design through deployment with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to translate technical details for business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
