Extrusion Operator (3rd Shift)

As an Extrusion Operator, you will operate and troubleshoot an extrusion machine, producing a quality product to meet customer specifications. You will be responsible for maintaining the line, trouble-shooting machine and material issues, setting up the line, performing screen changes, and assigning lot numbers.

Requirements

• Maintain all safety policies and procedures
• Adjust, calibrate and test equipment at the beginning of every shift
• Examine visually, weigh and measure components created from equipment
• Use regulated cleaning solutions and equipment to maintain and clean equipment
• Make repairs to equipment when necessary
• Choose and install cutters, molds and other necessary equipment parts
