As an Extrusion Operator, you will operate and troubleshoot an extrusion machine, producing a quality product to meet customer specifications. You will be responsible for maintaining the line, trouble-shooting machine and material issues, setting up the line, performing screen changes, and assigning lot numbers.
Requirements
- Maintain all safety policies and procedures
- Adjust, calibrate and test equipment at the beginning of every shift
- Examine visually, weigh and measure components created from equipment
- Use regulated cleaning solutions and equipment to maintain and clean equipment
- Make repairs to equipment when necessary
- Choose and install cutters, molds and other necessary equipment parts
