Database Team Lead w/Secret Clearance

Role Overview

We are seeking a Database Team Lead to join our team supporting an ITES task order. The Database Team Lead will serve as the senior lead for all database administration and engineering activities in support of customer applications.

What You Will Do

Architect, install, and configure enterprise-level database environments, manage the full lifecycle of database systems, develop and enforce security standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and provide database solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in database administration and architecture
• At least five (5) years of experience supporting Application Server architecture within a large enterprise environment
• Proven expertise with enterprise database platforms including Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and cloud-hosted database solutions
• Deep understanding of core database administration responsibilities, such as performance tuning, backup/recovery, access control, and capacity planning
• Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python and PowerShell
• Demonstrated ability to interface professionally with customers, including troubleshooting and solution design
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments
