System Administrator

Role Overview

We are seeking a System Administrator to join our team. TekSynap is a fast growing high-tech company that understands both the pace of technology today and the need to have a comprehensive well planned information management environment.

What You Will Do

Perform day-to-day systems administration and operational support for assigned infrastructure platforms and services. Review, update, and fulfill ServiceNow tickets, including service requests, incidents, and change-related work, in accordance with customer requirements and service expectations.

Requirements

• Experience performing systems administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support in enterprise IT environments
• Experience supporting ticket-driven IT operations using a system such as ServiceNow
• Experience supporting at least some combination of server, virtualization, messaging, backup, or infrastructure operations
• Working knowledge of system health monitoring, user/system support, configuration management, and maintenance procedures
• Ability to support recurring service requests, incidents, and change-related work while maintaining accurate status and documentation
