Battery Project Engineer

We are looking for a Battery Project Engineer to join our team at Teledyne Energy Systems. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in battery development and manufacturing and a strong background in chemistry, materials science, and chemical engineering. The successful applicant will develop innovative cell designs, establish processes, and lead development phases for high energy and high power applications.

Requirements

• Develop Li-Ion cell and electrode design to meet customer-specified electrical requirements
• Work with advanced battery materials such as high-energy cathode, silicon anode, and wide-temperature electrolytes
• Fundamental knowledge of electrochemical characterization techniques
• Develop battery products from concept design to manufacturing
• Lead development phases, including design refinement, validation, and implementation in manufacturing settings
