Material Planner

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Material Planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, MRP, and lean manufacturing concepts. The role involves planning, scheduling, and tracking the flow of materials throughout the production cycle, ensuring timely and efficient movement of materials in coordination with purchasing, production, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Ability to handle internal customer situations
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Must be able to work effectively individually and in a team environment
• Associates degree in Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years or production planning experience and MRP (Materials Requirement Planning)
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus
• Strong Computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite, is required
• Excel database, Power Query and Power BI experience a plus
• SAP experience is preferred
