Job Description
Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is looking for an RF Engineer to join their Engineering Team in Lincoln, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing RF Circuits and Systems, and will have the opportunity to drive research into new enabling technologies. The role requires experience in RF and microwave design, with a focus on complex RF microwave components, systems, and sub-systems used in the Defence, Communications, or Aerospace Industry.
Requirements
- An accomplished RF and Microwave Design Engineer with experience in a broad range of RF design.
- Understanding of mechanical design through development and product transfer.
- Experience in the design of complex RF microwave components, systems and sub-systems used within the Defence, Communications or Aerospace Industry.
- Experience of RF design up to 40GHz.
- Experienced with 3D EM simulation tools CST, HFSS etc.
- Experience with other microwave design tools AWR, ADS etc.
- Assist with the technical classification of products for export.
- Knowledge of good engineering processes and practices.
- Good communication skills – able to understand and report tasks, risks etc.
- Team working – both with peers and support staff.
