American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter - Part-Time

We are seeking a qualified and professional American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to provide accurate, confidential, and culturally competent interpretation services between Deaf or Hard of Hearing individuals and hearing participants.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• US Citizenship or 3 years of permanent residency
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English
• Demonstrated experience providing ASL interpretation in professional settings
• Strong understanding of Deaf culture and best practices for accessibility
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism, neutrality, and confidentiality at all times
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during interpretation sessions
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for effective signing and visual comprehension
• Camera quality and lighting standards
• Secure and private workspace requirements
