Senior Embedded Software Developer

Telesat is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Developer to assume ownership of specific software modules, overseeing their development, quality, and functionality. The role will contribute to the design, development/coding and testing of cutting-edge LightSpeed Software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ year software development experience in embedded system (Linux, ARM cores)
• Experience in software and firmware upgrades and device commissioning (YANG)
• Good understanding of L1/L2 networking protocols (IPSEC, MACsec, secure tunnel), NETCONF
• Experience with platform module for platform security
• Working experience with Agile scrum methodology
