SAP Roles & Authorization Specialist

We’re looking for a SAP Roles & Authorization Specialist to join the SAP Platform Services team at Telia. The role will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of SAP security, roles, and authorizations across on-premise and SAP cloud landscapes. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP Roles & Authorizations / SAP Security and be fluent in English.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Roles & Authorizations / SAP Security
• Hands-on experience of SAP authorization concepts (PFCG roles, composite roles, derived roles, authorization objects)
• Experience managing access in SAP on-premise systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW) and SAP cloud solutions (e.g. BTP, Analytics Cloud)
• Practical experience with SAP GRC Access Control (access requests, SoD analysis, firefighter functionality) or similar access governance tools
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, including SSO, user provisioning, and directory integration (e.g. Azure AD, SAP IAS/IPS)
• Fluent in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, security-focused, service-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills to interact with technical teams, business users, auditors, and stakeholders
• Flexibility to take part in on-call duty (24/7 service coverage) and support business-critical access incidents outside regular working hours when required
