We are looking for a Director General or Director, Operations, People and Culture to lead the team of the same name in Canada. The ideal candidate has extensive expertise in HR operations, compensation management, technology, and service delivery transformation.
Requirements
- Direct and optimize end-to-end activities of the Operations, People and Culture team in Canada, using SAP, SuccessFactors, and Workday systems.
- Supervise a large team of operational professionals in HR expertise, compensation, and social benefits, while promoting a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure accurate, fast, and compliant payroll services for Canadian employees, including all government reports for federally and provincially regulated payroll services.
- Lead Info P&C member support functions, ensuring exceptional service delivery to members by providing accurate and timely information through various request channels.
- Develop and monitor operational metrics, service level agreements, and key performance indicators to measure efficiency, identify trends, and inform decision-making based on data.
- Collaborate with inter-functional teams, including Retirement and Social Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Systems, Analytics, and business partners to ensure smooth operational support.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment laws, privacy laws, employee tax rules, internal and external audit requirements, and operational process scope.
- Direct relationships with payroll service providers, HRIS platforms, and service delivery partners to offer optimal value and performance.
- Design and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and self-service capabilities to improve team efficiency, focusing on leadership and employee experience.
- Lead change management initiatives for system implementations, process transformations, and organizational transitions impacting employees.
- Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans for essential Operations, People and Culture processes and systems.
- Provide strategic advice and reports to senior leadership on operational performance, risks, and opportunities.
