Job Description
TELUS is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead the development of a cloud-based Platform as a Service (PaaS) that will connect TELUS and global partners. This role involves leading a diverse engineering team, defining technical strategy, and ensuring the platform's success within a fast-paced, startup environment. The Director will be responsible for both engineering and operational oversight, and close collaboration with the operations team.
Requirements
- Expertise in building and scaling systems built on cloud architecture
- Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
- Proven background in leading global engineering organizations (preferred)
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Understanding of cloud computing and distributed systems
