Join TELUS as a Compensation Specialist in the People and Culture team, where you'll contribute to payroll administration in North America, providing exceptional support and customer service to over 5,000 employees. You'll use your strengths to offer payroll expertise, refine operational processes, and ensure data integrity.

Requirements

• Work experience in payroll of at least one year related to payroll in Canada subject to federal and provincial regulation and in the United States
• Knowledge of payroll tax and laws
• Mastering MS Office applications, particularly MS Word, with an intermediate to advanced level of Excel experience
• High level of ease with technology and willingness to learn
• Experience with payroll software, such as Ceridian's Dayforce
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, multitask environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with managers at various levels of the organization
• Advanced skills in analysis and recurring complex problem-solving
• Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion
• Ability to meet deadlines, demonstrate resilience, and work in structured and unstructured environments
