Job Description
TELUS is seeking an Applied AI/ML Scientist to join their AI Accelerator team. This role focuses on developing and deploying AI/ML models across the organization, driving innovation, automating data exploration, and building reusable algorithms. The team works with various data sources and collaborative stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and improve business decisions. This position involves leading the development, validation, and deployment of Generative AI applications and contributing to the evolution of TELUS's AI products.
Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, AI, and data analysis
- Strong expertise in Python and experience with data science libraries
- Solid background in machine learning algorithms
- Experience building and deploying GenAI applications
- Proficiency in SQL and distributed computing
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Pytorch, and Keras
- Strong understanding of software and AI development lifecycles
- Advanced knowledge of English is required
